It’s going to be one more day before One Jerusalem Radio’s TOCS returns to the air, but starting tomorrow morning we’ll have back-to-back episodes, one on Thursday and one on Friday. I’m still nailing down the exact times but I think we’ll be on the air both days around 10am PDT.
I’ll post more details before the shows go live, but tomorrow morning it’ll be domestic and international media bias – including this nonsense and this nonsense and maybe even this nonsense – and then Friday morning it’ll be mostly geopolitics. It’s been almost a month since the phrases “we’re losing” and “saturation bombing of Israeli civilians” made their way on the air. All that’s missing is some peg for how Iran’s warfighting strategy virtually guarantees nonconventional escalation, and the show will become a veritable walk down memory lane.
At some point we’re also going to have to cover how Egypt is now definitively – as it has always been – a bullet and a disgruntled general away from being the world’s most dangerous country.
Back on the domestic front, the genuinely amusing work of the Emergency Committee for Israel needs to be discussed. And then there’s this:
President Obama suggested Thursday that his Muslim middle name – Hussein – makes a lot of Israelis nervous about his commitment to the Jewish state. When asked by an Israeli interviewer why many Israelis are “anxious about you,” and “feel like you don’t have a special connection to Israel,” Obama said, “Some of it may just be the fact that my middle name is ‘Hussein,’ and that creates suspicion.”
Yeah, that’s exactly why.
Much thanks to everyone for your forbearance, and with any luck we’ll be back on the air tomorrow.
