We’re just a very few minutes away from this week’s episode of One Jerusalem Radio’s TOCS, where we finally get around to analyzing Iran’s increasingly sharp conventional threat. Of course they’re also openly sneering about how their nuclear ambitions will never be curbed – they just leaped over another technological hurdle a few days ago – and certainly yesterday’s watered down sanctions won’t do anything. But when top regime elements are talking about covering the Middle East with a “Greater Iran” and are installing proxies in Lebanon and Iraq – that’s a goal they’ll need naval and land forces to achieve.
Ergo today’s extended interview with JE Dyer from The Optimistic Conservative. Coming off roughly two decades in naval intelligence – and having personally cracked who’s dispatching subs to play footsie with Hezbollah in what ought to be NATO’s pond – she’s in a position to evaluate the Iran Lobby’s claim that Iran is far from parity with the US in any relevant theater.

News segments will cover the prospects for a robust Iranian sanctions regime, the Obama administration’s charm offensive toward US Jewry, and the hypocrisy of a global human rights community that lets Hamas get away with atrocity after atrocity.
We’ll also turn over some time today to the White House’s charm offensive – “one can hardly turn around in Washington the past three weeks without running into another Jewish outreach event the Obama White House is doing” – because it’s working. Democratic Jews are expressing themselves satisfied that the WH’s diplomatic offensive against Israel was just a huge misunderstanding. Of course they are.
