I’m not saying I support their tactics. But I understand:
“Monkeys that are heavy drinkers make better leaders, respected by other monkeys.” More proof – as if any was needed – that evolution is a non-teleological process guided by chance. There’s simply no other explanation for why monkeys get to have such a refined culture while the rest of us are endlessly plagued by nattering blue state teetotalers.
