As Israel’s Operation Cast Lead against Hamas in Gaza entered its sixth day, the Israeli Air Force bombed a mosque in the village of Jabalya in the northern Gaza Strip. The Holfe Mosque was used as a launching ground for rockets, a meeting place for Hamas terrorists, as well as storage facility for arms and a communications center.
The IDF press release on the attack describes “numerous secondary explosions” and points out that Hamas was launching missiles from the roof. Hospitals, schools, and holy places – say what you will about Hamas but it’s undeniable that they’re completionists.
