In 2005, Giustra flew Clinton to Kazakhstan on his private jet, where the ex-prez sang the praises of the Central Asian nation’s autocratic leader. Giustra then won a lucrative uranium mining contract.
… Keith Ellison is jaunting off to Mecca on the Muslim Brotherhood’s dime:

The Muslim Brotherhood. “In recent years, the U.S. Brotherhood operated under the name Muslim American Society, according to documents and interviews… Imagine if a conservative Congressman had taken a trip that had been paid for by a Christian group that was, according to one of its own documents, dedicated to “eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house” so that Christian law would replace the U.S. Constitution.
Not to worry. There’s probably zero chance of a conflict of interest in the coming years.
Well. Unless there are hearings about state-funded madrassas that won’t fly the American flag. Or about US Muslims who engage in jihadism overseas. Or about the mass importation of tens of thousands of often radical Somali refugees. Since those are all issues that Muslim interest groups have a stake in – then, yeah, there might be a conflict of interest.
