Along with Israel, South Korea is on the short list of industrialized countries that share a border with enemies that would not hesitate to overrun and massacre them – if only they thought that they’d succeed. So it’s not surprising that they’re also interested in weapons that strongly convey their strong desire to be left alone. Ergo their newest robot soldier:
We, of course, are huge fans of any technology that help keeps Axis Of Evil members on their own side of a border. But are we the only ones who find the phrase “automated army by 2012″ less than reassuring? Eh – it’s not like we were doing anything useful at the top of the food chain anyway.
