It’s east to get distracted by the objective awesomeness of the raid over Syrian – the idea of commando units hiding in Syria for days and then lighting up a hidden bunker for IAF jets rightly reminds people of the Israel of old – but it never should have had to happen:
Wouldn’t it be nice if once – just once – Israel did not have to risk treasure and blood to prevent itself from being annihilated on account of the world’s cavalier attitude toward openly genocidal regimes? And if, when it successfully pulled its head out of the noose once again, it wasn’t immediately confronted by a global din demanding that it climb back up to the gallows?
