“Possible” anti-Semitism you say? What about the drawing makes you think it might have been “possible” anti-Semitic?

Oh. Well that certainly does seem like it might “possibly” be anti-Semitic. Honestly, we can’t imagine how this happened in an academic environment where such a clear line is drawn between frothing, seething, vicious “anti-Zionism” and outright anti-Semitism.
Stupid anti-Semites. They should have put a Star of David on the board instead of a swastika. Then they could have claimed that their little picture wishing for the murder of Jews was a “stand against Israeli colonialism”. Professors across the country would have applauded them for their bravery, and concerned Jewish students would have been attacked for trying to “stifle legitimate criticism of Israel”. Oh well. We’re sure they’ll get it right the next time.
