There are certain Arab members of Israel’s Knesset – elected in free elections to serve and protect the country – who have spent the last decade or so feverishly coming up with new ways to undermine Israel. They’ve actively stomped out any sign of patriotism in their constituents. They’ve provided moral buttress and support to countries at war with Israel. They’ve recently gone so far as to call for uprisings against Irael. Remember – these people participate in voting on Israel’s defense budget, providing parliamentary safety nets to government policies, etc. There’s something that just feels wrong about letting them hang out with Nasrallah on Monday and vote on whether Israel should have more tanks on Tuesday.
The Knesset is finally gearing up to deal with the most flagrant acts of near treason:
About time. This would be as absurd as the Democratic House Leader visiting a country that is de facto supplying weapons to Iraqi insurgents trying to kill American soldiers.
