Palestinians Celebrate Formation Of Moderate Unity Government With Rockets Aimed At Israel Schoolhouses and Hospitals

Super:

A day after the new Palestinian unity government was sworn in, terror organizations in Gaza signaled that they plan to continue firing rockets at Israel . Five Qassam rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip on Sunday in three different barrages after a relative period of clam. One of the rockets landed in Ashkelon’s southern industrial zone, near a strategic facility. The rest of the rockets landed south of Ashkelon and in open areas in the western Negev. There were no reports of injuries. The rockets were fired by members of the al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad’s military wing.

Right now, the PIJ is the only major terrorist organization that’s even plausibly outside the umbrella of the new oh-so-moderate Palestinian unity government. Which means that they’re the only major terrorist organization that Israeli security forces can go after openly without incurring a diplomatic backlash. Which means that their senior leadership has like a month, max.

Which is small comfort to the residents of Sderot, who face the conditions of a literal war zone. Rockets – actual, you know, bombs and stuff – are falling on their schoolhouses and hospitals. And yet international human rights organizations seem nowhere to be found. Eh, all those Israeli children probably deserve it, ya know?
