MR’s Beloved Pitt Panthers Cruise Past Marquette In Big East Tournament

Real quick: we’re at a wedding in Chicago this weekend and won’t be back in town until late Monday. Posting will be severely circumscribed by MR’s No Drunk Blogging policy. In the meantime, it’s March and the table has been set for the annual feast that is the glory of our beloved Pittsburgh Panthers:

Pittsburgh wasn’t about to forget a loss to Marquette that cost the Panthers a share of the Big East title. Aaron Gray scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to help Pittsburgh (No. 11 ESPN/USA Today; No. 13 AP) beat Marquette (No. 19 ESPN/USA Today; No. 18 AP) 89-79 in the quarterfinals of the Big East tournament Thursday night.

That’ll teach em to respect their betters.
