Hey, Remember How We Said That The Iranian General Defected? Yeah…

Yesterday we expressed skepticism about reports that an Iranian general who disappeared had been kidnapped. We suggested that he probably just defected, since he might be just sane enough not to want his family to get killed in whatever will happen after Iran tries to nuke Israel. As the kids say, prediction confirmed:

The Telegraph also suggested that the former spy chief was not kidnapped by an intelligence service but defected while visiting Turkey, escaping to a Western country, and Israel and the US were showing special interest in the case since Asgari might be able to shed some light on the fate of Arad. The report followed Iranian claims that Asgari was kidnapped by the Mossad and the CIA.

The report also says that he was involved in the kidnapping and perhaps torture of Ronnie Arad, which kind of makes us with that it was the Mossad who got him.
