Palestinians Blame Israel For Their Own Infighting. Of Course They Do.

Because obviously, it can’t be their fault. They’re the world’s oppressed darlings, and can pretty much do no wrong. So if something’s not right, it must be the Jews’ fault:

Palestinians believe Israel is behind the buildup of arms in the West Bank and Gaza. It benefits from the internal crisis as it allows settlement and separation barrier work to progress more easily, said an officer from the General Intelligence Forces… The Israeli army spokesman replies that “this accusation is baseless.” Israel has expressed its concerns over the issue of weapon smuggling several times during meetings with Palestinian officials, he adds… After the Israelis pulled out from the Gaza Strip, the number of tunnels for smuggling weapons and other contraband has more than doubled, evolving into an underground maze clawed out of Gaza’s soft soil.

The Palestinians have developed an extensive and complicated network for weapons smuggling. While they developed it, Israel screamed its head off about how weapons were flooding into the Gaza Strip – to no avail and often to international ridicule (“Israel is trying to demonize the Palestinians”, etc etc):

In the Gaza Strip, nearly four out of five people are armed, whereas in the West Bank two out of five are armed with different kind of rifles and pistols, according to an officer of the Preventive Security Forces, on condition of anonymity.

So now that it’s obvious to everyone that there’s a pluthera of weapons in the Gaza Strip… it’s Israel’s fault that they’re there! Is there anything that’s not Israel’s fault?
