Nasrallah Is More Honest About Iran Than The British Press

No kidding:

Hezbollah head Hassan Nasrallah has said it is no secret that Iran is aiding Hezbollah by sending money and weapons via Syria. In remarks published in an interview in the weekend issue of the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai Al-Aam, Nasrallah also is willing to receive aid not only from Iran but also from Muslim countries that have diplomatic ties with Israel, such as Egypt, and states that are considered moderate, such as Saudi Arabia.

Why is this news? Because, you see – during Lebanon II, the Guardian declared that “little is overt about the relationships between Hizbullah and the governments in Tehran”. So now that there is an overt connection, we’re expecting them to join the rest of the world in acknowledging it. Since, to be kind of honest, they were the among the few leftists on the planet willing to pretend to be that stupid.

How great is that quote though? It’s “no secret” that there’s a connection between Hezbollah and Iran and Syria. It’s like he’s mocking the Guardian for essentially making up their two anonymous Washington “sources” on how there was no overt relationship. As well he should.
