The French Are So Rude They Give Japanese Tourists Mental Breakdowns

We’re a month late on this, but it’s just so incredible that we have to pass it on:

A dozen or so Japanese tourists a year have to be repatriated from the French capital, after falling prey to what’s become known as “Paris syndrome”. That is what some polite Japanese tourists suffer when they discover that Parisians can be rude or the city does not meet their expectations. The experience can apparently be too stressful for some and they suffer a psychiatric breakdown. Around a million Japanese travel to France every year.

We’re sure that the service will get better when political Islam gets around to conquering Gaul. It’ll be limited to halal-approved shops and exclude things like French wine (which you might get killed for trying to drink), but nonetheless…
