Unless we misheard, Larry King just used the phrase “President Kennedy”. We’re pretty sure that he was cued by how Sen. Obama’s not-very-subtle use of “escalation” smacks of the Democratic defeatism that caused the US to withdraw from Vietnam – but the question was about Sen. Kennedy’s current attempt to undermine President Bush’s powers as Commander in Chief. Wishful thinking, perhaps?
