Sometimes we joke about how the Palestinians complain to the world that Israel is undermining some imaginary ceasefire while the Palestinians dispatching suicide bombers to murder civilians:
At least two people were killed and 37 people were wounded when a major explosion occurred… UPDATE: Good news! The ceasefire is still on!
Sometimes it’s less of a joke than a totally surreal nightmare:
Hamas’ political leader Khaled Mashaal said Thursday that his group and other Palestinian factions were still committed to a truce agreed upon with Israel, despite a Tuesday’s suicide bombing in Netanya where five people were killed.
But he warned in an interview with The Associated Press that continued Israeli violations may renew confrontations and end the four-month-old cease fire – “Israel is provoking the Palestinian factions to force them to break the truce,” Mashaal said.
Very important. We wouldn’t want Hamas to call off the ceasefire.
