Abbas insists that he’s too weak to capture terrorists in the West Bank, where he has thousands of armed forces, but that he’s not too weak to stop terrorists from rampaging through abandoned Gaza settlements, where he has no armed forces:
Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas insisted Saturday he would not allow “looters” to rampage Gaza Strip settlements after the implementation of the disengagement plan… On Saturday, Palestinian police in the West Bank town of Jenin had still not found a militant accused of being involved in a shooting attack that killed a police officer.
