Iran, the IAEA, etc etc

Blogging about how Iran owns the IAEA isn’t even fun any more:


Iran will start building a nuclear reactor in June that can produce weapons-grade plutonium, diplomats said Wednesday. Although Tehran insists the heavy water facility is for research, the decision heightens concern about its nuclear ambitions.

“Iran insists”, “heightens concerns”, blah blah blah. Why don’t they just build a bomb, use it to blackmail the West, slip it to a terrorist, and get the whole thing over with? We’ve clearly reached a point of journalistic diminishing returns here – covering Iran’s repetitive cat and mouse game with the IAEA is taking the time of well-trained international reporters whose time would be better spent demonizing Israel.
