NASA scientists have proven, after safely flying two golf-cart sized rovers to the surface of another planet, have proven that liquid water once soaked the surface of Mars. They examined those little spherical blueberries with an array of mind-bogglingly complex instruments and eliminated all other possibilities. They found holes left by crystal formation in water. They found an absurd amount of sulphur by grinding away the surface of a rock, demonstrating the previous existence of salt. And they found evidence of a rare sulphate-hydrate that can only form in water, and that they knew in advance would be there!!!
Kind of puts the fact that you’re proud of yourself for getting your credit card payment in on time in perspective, doesn’t it?
Incidentally, CNN cut away in the middle of the press conference to tell us that Super Tuesday happens today. So it’s good that they reminded us of that, cause we might have forgotten. Useless.
